Today the kids and I were out running errands and stopped at the library (the stop was planned to drop off books and get more) and much to our surprise they happened to be having a GROSSOLOGY presentation! Totally up Carter’s alley. I was able to get Shealyn and Carter in even though we didn’t register. Thanks to whoever didn’t show. P and I hung out in the kid’s section, played and read some books while S & C had fun being gross. An hour later they emerged with homemade snot! Actually when I went in to see if they were coming out they were in the process of disecting owl pellets (poop) and were finding some really cool stuff. Shealyn was in the process of revealing some bird feet in her pellet—-very cool! Anyway, this unplanned afternoon ended up being fun for all. Oh yeah, and if any of you are interested in a homemade SNOT recipe let me know because I can hook you up

*the skin cells we shed in a lifetime would fill up 18 – 40 lb. sugar bags
*the gas that a cow emits from burping in a day would fill 2 refrigerators
