Okay, I’m driving down the road and you know it —- the song that comes on and you just have to TURN IT UP!!! I’ve had a couple of those in the past weeks. Remember, I’m a country girl and you’re going to have to go back to the archives for these 2.
Anybody at my wedding should remember this one—Rhinestone Cowboy by Glen Campbell. Somebody at my wedding had this song played as Kimmer’s favorite song when she was a little girl (I still blame my dad) and all of the little girls and boys at our wedding came and joined me on the dance floor. Oh what a memory that is, so how can I NOT sing along and I still remember all of the words!
The other one was John Denver’s, Take Me Home County Roads. That song just simply reminds me of childhood and singing at the top of my lungs.
And of course, my kids looked at me like I was crazy!
