A fun visit

Yesterday, the kids and I went to Fort Worth to visit with my cousin and her girls.  Beth and I were discussing how long it’d been since we had seen each other and we decided on 3 years, but it’s been way longer than that since we’ve been able to have any kind of discussion.  We arrived just after lunch and after a few minutes of awkwardness (with the kids only) they were off in the other room playing with the kittens, computer and whatever else they could find.  Before I knew it, 2 hours had gone by and the kids were coming in pretty much insistent that it was time to swim NOW!  So, we got everybody sunscreened and enjoyed another couple hours in the pool.  While staying cool in the pool and watching the kids, Beth and I visited more and just had fun watching our kids play together.  It really was a great afternoon and so nice to catch up with my cousin.  Hopefully, we can do it again before school.  Thanks Beth and girls for the cool, relaxing afternoon!
